The purpose of this category is to EDUCATE. Therefore, the exhibit must include a display card which includes, at a minimum, the history, description and growing conditions required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>  <strong>This category can earn up to 5 points as follows:<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Quality of exhibit &#8211; 40%<\/li><li>Growing Conditions (sun, soil, water, etc.) &#8211; 20%<\/li><li>Description (height, spread, colour, etc.) &#8211; 20%<\/li><li>  History (where did the species originate, how used, etc.) &#8211; 20%  <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a name=\"Note1\"><\/a>Note 1<\/strong><br><strong>Novice Definition<\/strong> &#8211; an exhibitor who has yet to win three first place ribbons in the Decorative Design division in Standard shows (i.e. our annual show, District 15 AGM and\/or OHA convention) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a name=\"Note4\"><\/a>Note 4<\/strong><br><strong>Miniature \u2013 <\/strong>A design with maximum dimensions no more than 5\u201d in height, width and depth including any container, base and\/or accessories.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>September 22, 2020 HORTICULTURAL: 2 entries permitted in all horticultural classes if different cultivars 1.
